About (me)

I am a creative technology student at University of Twente. I have a great passion for innovation and smart technology. I’m excited to see what is already possible with technology and cannot wait to see what will be possible in the future. I like to make technological innovations myself. I am good at coming up with ideas to make things easier and more efficient. I would love to see something I’ve invented that will make life easier or just more enjoyable.

I have a great passion for technology , science and al things related, especially gadgets and smart technology. I also like to design things and really use my creative side.

I am a “tech thinker”, I think about technology, how things work and how it effects society and the future.

I’m good in recognizing problems or things that can be done more efficient and coming up with a technologic and creative solution for it. I am not afraid to think out of the box, you maybe find just the right solution for a problem by looking at it different way than everyone else is.

Creative Technology

Creative Technology is a combination of multiple disciplines, such as Electrical Engineering, IT, Business, Computer Science, and Design. As a Creative Technologist, you are trained to become a T-shaped professional. This means that you have one or more specializations but also have knowledge and understanding of other disciplines. No matter what specialization you chose, you will always be able to use other disciplines, and understand/work together with people from other disciplines. This allows a Creative Technologist to be a great team player but also to work independently. Next to that, the study has a unique combination of practical work and academic theory which makes us very practical people. A Creative Technologist can actually prototype, demonstrate and explain an idea in a professional way. Throughout the study we are taught many different skills and disciplines, I summed them up in the Creative Technology toolbox section left. Al this allows a Creative Technologist to be creative in finding solutions or just in other types of work.

I am a Creative Technologist with a specialization in soft and hardware programming, prototyping and idea generation.     I like programming but also combining it with other disciplines like prototyping and design.

Future Goals

My future goals are improving my skills and learning new things(the things I will probably be doing for my whole life 😉 ). My short time goals are getting the knowledge to use my skills and creativity to realize my ideas. My long time goals are developing and educating myself in the best way possible. Gaining experience and learn from it and improving my skills. My life goals are making a difference, taking opportunities, inventing and achieving great things.

Key Skills

Some of my best qualities are my perseverance and discipline, I won’t easily give up on something, I will always try to find a solution and will always try to make my work the best as possible. I’m good in time managing, I like to be busy and try to be as productive as possible. I am responsible and I am not afraid to have responsibility’s.

I’m also open for new things, to learn new things or doing things in a complete different way. I think it is important to look at things from someone else’s point of view, to understand others and work together to create something great.

I am good in working in a team. When you work together you can do so much more than alone. I am good in managing group projects, I can keep a good overview over the whole project. It is important to pay attention to work of others, to give and receive feedback so you collaborate in the best way possible.
